Until a few hours ago there were mandatory evacuations in Carlsbad near our office and road closures all over San Diego. We took some time the last 2 days to deliver energy drinks to the Evacuation Centers and Salvation Army. There were 11 centers and it was an unbelievable sight. Thousands of people at each center, literally built small cities overnight. It was a great feeling how excited the people were when we pulled into there parking lots with tons of cases of drinks. All they had was water and they were tired from being awake all day and night so they we’re full of glee to have our drinks. Alot of people are effected by this in our company, and we will get through it together. In total there are nearly 500,000 people that have evacuated and over 1 million that have fled the area. There is more than 350,000 acres burned and it’s not contained whatsoever.

Our hearts go out to everyone involved and we will continue to help our fellow San Diegans any way we can. Donations can be sent too www.redcross.org

Katei Couric covering for CBS Evening News next to us. Our booth was set-up at the Stadium again today and will be there again tomorrow. We continued to send out cases to the other evacuation centers because they keep getting water donations but really need energy for there 16 hour shifts and are so grateful.

Delivering cases to the 10,000 plus people that we’re sleeping at the Del Mar Race Track.
