The Whole City’s on Fire

Oct 23 2007

Until a few hours ago there were mandatory evacuations in Carlsbad near our office and road closures all over San Diego. We took some time the last 2 days to deliver energy drinks to the Evacuation Centers and Salvation Army. There were 11 centers and it was an unbelievable sight. Thousands of people at each center, literally built small cities overnight. It was a great feeling how excited the people were when we pulled into there parking lots with tons of cases of drinks. All they had was water and they were tired from being awake all day and night so they we’re full of glee to have our drinks. Alot of people are effected by this in our company, and we will get through it together. In total there are nearly 500,000 people that have evacuated and over 1 million that have fled the area. There is more than 350,000 acres burned and it’s not contained whatsoever.

Our hearts go out to everyone involved and we will continue to help our fellow San Diegans any way we can. Donations can be sent too www.redcross.org

Katei Couric covering for CBS Evening News next to us. Our booth was set-up at the Stadium again today and will be there again tomorrow. We continued to send out cases to the other evacuation centers because they keep getting water donations but really need energy for there 16 hour shifts and are so grateful.

Delivering cases to the 10,000 plus people that we’re sleeping at the Del Mar Race Track.

New Marketing Materials

Oct 19 2007

Here’s a collection of our marketing materials for retail stores, better known in the beverage industry as P.O.S. (Point of Sale). At the top of the picture are suction cup holders that hold six cans and stick inside of cooler windows. The top middle one is made for Nightclubs and Bars and is called a Table Tent, it has the different ways to mix our Cranberry Pineapple as well as our Green Tea Energy Drinks with Alcohol. At the bottom middle is our Dogtag Necklace and in the bottom right is the rubber molded keychain, these products build brand loyalty because they go with people everywhere. The large stickers are designed for the front door of convenience stores so that the hundreds of people that walk in on a daily basis can immediately see our brand.

This new display rack is state-of-the-art for the energy drink world. It’s really functional because it features a way for customers to purchase individual cans, 4 packs and full cases.

Some new barrel design’s came in as well as our new mini-barrel size.

Straight from the drawing board to reality, here’s a look at our new 8.4 oz size 4 pack boxes.

Keep on fighting

Oct 17 2007

Albanez Motorsports and there Baja 500 Team has won non-stop and helped us with stores and fans in the surrounding areas. They just brought home another 1st place trophy.

No matter what’s occuring in the stock market world we must continue to fight strong and hard in expanding our business as a whole. We’ve built this brand up for years and it has become our life in every way shape and form.  We’ve announced that 2 new products are coming out, the “5 Hour Energy Shot” as well as the “Nutritional Energy Bar” that we will be selling directly to some chain stores and not just distributors. The vending machine show was eye opening and we are now preparing for the NACS (National Association of Covenience Stores Convention) which is in a few weeks time. We started this blog to give fans and investors a place to see what’s going on as a “Brand” and not just a ticker symbol. We cannot control the stock market, only thing we can control is our passion to build this company up, learn from our mistakes and grow. This has been a humbling experience and I truly believe that William R. Alger said it best,

“After every storm the sun will smile: for every problem there is a solution, and the soul’s indefeasible duty is to be of good cheer.”

4,000,000 Cans, 15,000 Stores, 1,900 Promotions, 1,200 Shareholders, 45 Distributors, 30 Employees, 20 States, 8 Chains, 3 Countries, 2 Founders, 1 Mission.

Ultimate Fighting Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture retired from the UFC yesterday. He continues to be a great help to us in the Mixed Martial Arts world and sports gyms in general. He has half a dozen of his own gyms and he has gotten us into many others. He had a legendary career, we wish him the best.

We did displays all over the store to garner the most attention and increase our sell-thru’s.

There have been so many random Who’s Your Daddy pictures that have come in from different states and countries. From billboards to bus stops, people love to use our Trademarked catch phrase to get peoples attention. It’s alot of fun to see what people are up to around the globe. Here are some of the pics.

This one is from an airport in Kansas.

This Darth Vader image has been emailed to me from all over the world. There is a graffiti artist that has been putting this up from New Zealand to New York. I don’t know who he is because there is no contact info for him, but it’s fun to see all the places that he travels.

It says Who’s Your Daddy on the Country Music Billboard in the background.

A light projector (gobo) on a wall in Utah.

Young fans that came back over and over throughout the 10 days. We sample people all over the U.S. from kids to senior citizens and the reaction is always a Big Smile.

Flags waving proudly.

A great deal of store owners like our drink so much that they ask our reps to replace other drinks, decorate the inside and outside of the store with our Point of Sale materials, and sometimes they tell us to just pile our drinks on top of competitors.

Neat idea. Company’s just started testing advertising on conveyor belts at grocery store check-out stands, but your covering up the ad with the items your purchasing, with these floor signs on the walkways, you cant miss them.

Billboard in a foreign country.

We sponsor college events in the 20 states that we’re currently in, and these sorortiy’s and fraternities are passionate about energy drinks because they stay up such late hours partying and studying. Email info@whosyourdaddyinc.com if you have pictures from your event that involved Who’s Your Daddy.

Star Wars and Epic Racing

Oct 05 2007

We own the catchphrase trademark “Who’s Your Daddy” for hundreds of products globally, from printed materials to automotive wheels and beef jerky. This poster for the Launch of Star Wars 3, showed how internationally accepted and loved our name is. They handed out this poster at movie theaters Fathers Day Weekend to millions of fans.  Star Wars is hands down one of the largest movie and entertainment franchises the world will ever know, and they chose to use the Who’s Your Daddy name for there marketing campaign. Think about that.

Epic Racing’s Can-Am team has been consistently beating out Red Bull,  Monster and Rockstar’s teams around the country. They actually design and manufacture the bikes that everybody else is driving! We are honored to be a part of there Championship team as they consistently help us in the motorsports world.

There are tens of thousans of avid energy drink fans at these events all weekend long. It always helps to have the winning team, especially as the new kid on the block because everybody wants to taste the drink and find out the story.

MTV, Budweiser, Maveriks, etc.

Oct 04 2007

Our close friend Christopher, better known as “BIG BLACK” has a show on M.T.V. called “Rob & Big” which has done so amazingly well, that they just got renewed for multiple seasons. Most of the filming for the show is done in their home, which is great for us, because they love our drink so much, that they put our electric cooler in his bedroom!!! He has been friends with our director of promotions for many years now and we are all proud of  his media success.

We get so many emails from people seeing this on the road. It’s so cool to see a Budweiser truck with 58 feet of Who’s Your Daddy on both sides.

I took this picture from a Maverik’s store in Utah. All of there locations had these signs in the window. The deal was that if they brought a can of WYD to the State Fair that they would get in for a major discount.

Promotions at Club Vortex in Utah.

Models and reps go into nightclubs, colleges, military bases, charity events, sporting events, etc.  in multiple states to promote our drinks and to educate people that they don’t have to “get used” to a flavor like other energy drinks. You shouldn’t have to get used to something that you eat or drink, you should enjoy it. That’s why so many fans send in letters and emails, because we’ve created drinks that people can enjoy with no cough syrup flavor or aftertaste. That’s why over 40 distributors in 20 states chose us. The Who’s Your Daddy name attracts people, the colorful packaging makes it easy to find, the $1.99 price keeps them happy, but at the end of the day, people re-buy it because they truly enjoy it.

We co-sponsored an event with Imperia Vodka for a realty company that does alot for the community.
