Vending machines go anywhere and everywhere. Military bases, shopping centers, colleges, etc.

We began our promotions at some of their cash and carry locations.

I love Bag-In-The-Box

Jul 16 2007

Now that we have Bag-In-The-Box we have been able to get into alot more Nightclubs, Bars and Restaurants.

B.I.B. is a way for these “On-Premise” locations to pour our drinks out of a “gun” just like they do with Coca-Cola. Very few energy drinks have B.I.B. which gives us a great advantage.

Our on-premise promotions have been everywhere from Country Bars to Hip-Hop Clubs and family restaurants.

Our models hopped in as special waitresses for the night to push our drinks.

We wrapped some of the tables at this 3 story bar! The quality is really impressive.

7-11 in the O.C.

A whole shelf was made for us inside this 7-11 along with the cooler and 4 pack area.

Larry Butler from Straub Distributing set-up 2 dozen Shell Gas Stations with displays like this as well as full shelves.

The Marine Corps Exchange had a great energy when we arrived.

Our Promotions Director Carlos Martinez put the yellow cans up on the entry poles so that buyers knew where to go when they arrived.  : )

Straub Distributing in Orange County is truly an innovative team that helped us expand our distribution.

Montel Williams Charity Poker for MS Foundation

Jul 09 2007

I was so honored to be invited to play in the 19 person Charity Poker tournament for the Montel Williams Show. The cast of characters for this poker tournament will be great for the show airing in September, and more importantly great for his foundation http://www.montelms.org/
Montel was diagnosed with MS and has raised a great deal of money and awareness for it’s research. Brad Garrett from Everybody Loves Raymond was the first one knocked out, but was a great joy to be around. Professional Poker Players Jamie Gold, Annie Duke and Robert Williamson played as well as two important businessmen and dear friends Jeff Yarchever and Marshall Sylver. Jeff from Jet Apparel donated $10,000 as well as got other people in the room to match his donation. Mr. Sylver actually started the $10,000 donation trend by giving a heartfelt speech about being on Montel’s show when he was 23 years old, and now has an immensely successful career as a Hypnotist and Motivational Speaker.

The COOLEST part of this whole story is……… The CEO Poker Champion (yours truly) ended up playing Heads-Up with the 2006 World Series of Poker Champion Jamie Gold!!!! When it got down to the two of us we both made it clear that we would donate the entire prize pool to Montel’s MS Foundation so it was truly great for everyone involved!

Steve Cyr is the good soul that brought all the players together for this amazing charitable cause. I’m holding up his book “Whale Hunt in the Desert”
100 percent of the cash and checks on the table were donated to http://www.montelms.org/

World Series of Poker Lifestyle Convention

Jul 09 2007

The WSOP Lifestyle Convention has 100,000 people in attendance over the course of 4 days leading up to the largest sports prize every year,, the World Series of Poker. Media from all over the world covers this event which 6,000 people pay $10,000 each to play in,,, that’s a $60,000,000 million dollar prize pool!!!
There were only 2 other energy drinks there and we decided that since there was so much media buzz around this event that we should bring in one of our Semi-Trucks in to the booth to blow away there small 10 ft. booths…

It worked because we are the only interview featured on ESPN.com, they video taped at other booths, but the interview was only done at ours!!! I have a picture below of what the ESPN website screen looks like playing our video and will have the whole video up soon.
The crowds of people that sampled our drink for 4 days absolutely loved it. The models were happy about everything because the reactions from people tasting it were so pleasant no matter what part of the globe they were from.

Phil “the Unabomber” Laak and Antonio “the Magician” Esfandiari are Superstar Poker Players as well as have their own hit show on MOJO the HD Channel called “I Bet You” but more importantly they are fun guys and that’s why the fans love them.

Here is a picture we took of the ESPN.com interview. There were a dozen other magazines and publications that interviewed myself and the models but being on ESPN was particularly exciting for obvious reasons.
